February 18-20, the Alberta Men’s Collective presents a national virtual conference called A Love Letter to Men, with a focus on Men’s mental health. On opening night, David, Doug and Riley of the Edmonton Region Men’s Sheds will all share their stories of what “being retired” means to them, how they came to be involved with Men’s Sheds, what they do in relation to Men’s Sheds, and how their involvement has supported their health and well-being.
Along with hearing these personal perspectives, session participants will learn what the Men’s Sheds movement in Alberta and worldwide is about, and connect with resources that will help them find or start a Shed in their own communities. Registration is still open!
