Our Team

Board of Directors

Men’s Sheds Canada is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors, elected annually by the Membership to provide strategic leadership and governance. Our Board plays a critical role in overseeing the organization’s activities, financial stewardship, and long-term growth. To ensure the Board is composed of experienced and skilled individuals, we follow a formal nomination process that reflects recognized best practices in non-profit governance. Potential candidates are identified in consultation with Provincial Men’s Shed Associations and other networks, and are carefully vetted and interviewed by the Board’s Nominations Committee, and recommended to the board for approval to present to members at the Annual General Meeting. Nominations are presented to the Membership in advance of the AGM, giving Members the opportunity to review candidates before voting.
As volunteers, Board Directors serve within the same framework of rights, responsibilities, and values that guide all volunteer involvement at Men’s Sheds Canada. Recruitment emphasizes skills, diversity, and geographic representation, and Directors are supported through orientation, resources, and ongoing engagement. This structured and inclusive approach ensures that candidates bring the expertise, perspective, and commitment necessary to advance the organization’s mission.
We are pleased to present the 2025–26 Men’s Sheds Canada Board:
